This is one of my friend’s car, most people call it “EJ1”. Before I shot this picture, I wanted to try a different look, more HDR, higher contrast, and more of a vivid effect. As you can see, the photo just explodes with vivid colors. The car is just legit, and it’s sitting on a legit background. So the car itself was just asking me to take the picture. The aperture in this photo was 4.5, shutter speed was 1” and the ISO was 400. Now you’re probably thinking how I got the picture so bright. I used speedlight flash and I focused the lighting on the building, and the light would reflect and hit the car with more of a natural lighting. And with the long shutter speed the ambient light also becomes prominent. Overall this photo was more than just a click for me, and it was really fun!

This photo looks amazing! I love how all the different colors contrast. The blue building, the orange sidewalk and night sky, and the purple-tinged car, all go nicely with each other. I also like the use of HDR in this picture; it makes it look even more unreal.

First I just want to say I love the colors in your photo, except the one light off to the side of the car is a bit too bright and kind of throws me off. The building in the background is cool. The photo is nicely laid out. Awesome shot!

The colors in this photo are fabulous! I like how there is a lot of things in the picture. I wish there was more focus on one object though. Over all, great photo!
ReplyDeleteOh whoa this is so cool. Not a lot of people try things beyond normal camera settings and flash effects, so I really like this. The rule of thirds is very prominent here and it has a very nice effect on the picture. The colors are simply amazing, they really pop and make this so much more than a normal car picture, lending it an exciting mood.

This picture depicts the front end of the car, it’s clean and the background supports the overall feature of the car. The colors make the picture pop. The up light on the building gives a good shadow affect; this allows all the attention not to be on the car but entirely on the picture itself.

When I look at this picture, I think of how beautiful night scence could be. I love the lighting & exposure from the buildings & the night sky. I also like how you could see the street marks on the pathway. It makes the picture look more in depth. Great job !
