I took this photo during the Painterly/Blur Assignment. I really like the way it turned out. It was not photoshopped it is straight out the camera. I turned the iso to 100 and .5 shutter speed. I zoomed in real quick as I snapped for the photo. I really like how the lighting is cool as if it was all being merged together.

Look at the Birdie

I took this picture one day while I was at my grandmother’s. I was testing out different ways to to get depth of field with the new camera I had received for Christmas. I looked around the house and I didn’t see anything that I liked until I came across this fake bird. I remembered how last year in digital photography we had an assignment in which we made toys look real, so I decided to do the same with this bird. I really like the depth of field that I got and that I didn’t shoot the bird head on because the side profile looked a lot better. I wish a little more of the nest had blurred instead of the body of the bird, and I wish I had better lighting for a nicer contrast.

It's Evil

I have always seen people doing pictures with the hear no evil see no evil speak no evil. Well I decided to show what it truly is; evil.  I took pictures of kids in my class and just used the cut out tool, then used the eraser to get rid of the rough edges and help blend in the skin tones. After I set the pictures together I decided to burn the outside edges to help blend them since they where all taken at different parts of the room. After this I had to title this picture for what is represents evil!!!!

HDR CAR

This is one of my friend’s car, most people call it “EJ1”. Before I shot this picture, I wanted to try a different look, more HDR, higher contrast, and more of a vivid effect. As you can see, the photo just explodes with vivid colors. The car is just legit, and it’s sitting on a legit background. So the car itself was just asking me to take the picture. The aperture in this photo was 4.5, shutter speed was 1” and the ISO was 400. Now you’re probably thinking how I got the picture so bright.  I used speedlight flash and I focused the lighting on the building, and the light would reflect and hit the car with more of a natural lighting. And with the long shutter speed the ambient light also becomes prominent. Overall this photo was more than just a click for me, and it was really fun!

FPHS

I was working on a panorama assignment and I took this picture of the front of the school. I like it because the lighting and the way the picture looks. I think it’s one of my best ones.
