Holy Pine

For this photo, What I originally did was I saw a twig on the bench out front in the school. Then I saw the light, and I said ”oh yeah, time to get the twig of light.” I got the picture the first time. I didn’t think this was going be a good picture because it took a fraction of a second to take it, but it was. So what I did in Photoshop was I used “auto” on all three things (color),(tone),(contrast), then checked what was bad and fixed it. Overall I think this was a great picture.

Water Light

I was doing a lot of close up shots that day and it had just stopped raining  and I noticed all of these water drops gathering underneath the railings.  There was this one that was longer than any of the other one and felt like the light coming through was amazing.  I do wish that more of the railing was in focus, but I feel that it makes the water drop even stronger. I took so many different angles of the drop to find the one that had the perfect amount of light and the right shape.  Overall I think this is going to be my favorite photo of the year.

Through the Raindrop

I love taking picture of raindrops and moisture on objects. For this picture, I like that you can see the fence in the background and also in the raindrop. You can see so clearly in the rain drop. I don’t know I feel about the red sign in the background. Some people think its a little distraction and too cluttered. But I’m the kind of person who wants to see different things when I’m in different moods, which ends up making this…….cluttered.

Hearts for MLK

This is probably my most favorite picture I’ve taken so far. Everything I feel is perfect. Focus is great and the shallow depth of field works real well. This is one of those photos that you just snap and goes great. I used manual focus and it just worked.

See Into the Colors

I named my photo “see into the colors” because the eye of the photo has many different colors in the eye that it would be really cool to name it that. Also I picked that one because I felt that that was one of my best photos that I have taken.

Hold On!

I took this picture for my sophomore year CBA. It’s an overall good picture, though I do wish I could of gotten the top of the soldiers head a bit more in focus. I was using my old point and shoot camera at the time on default settings so the picture is nowhere near what I wanted it to be, but I’ll take what I can get.

Big Cat

I took this picture back in Spain, in a safari park I remember it was hard to take because you are not suppose to stop your car as you drive through.   So the first time the picture was blurry. And the second time we stopped but as soon as we did the lion came to the car so we had quickly to drive away.

Found a Fence

I choose to take this picture because it was our fences assignment. It just so happened to be a nice sunny day which is very unexpected for Washington. I really like the natural light of the picture. I start my photography day off by having a few warm up shots and this one just so happened to be a warm up shot.

Yellow Leaf Road

I took this photo behind Franklin Pierces parking lot where the gym is. This picture was in November when all the leaves were off the trees. The focus was to show how many leaves actually fall during this season and show the colorfulness that fall can achieve. I like this picture a lot because I only had to take one picture and it came out good the first time.
