This photo was taken on a December morning at Crystal Mtn, Washington. Myself and the group I was snowboarding with were enjoying the fresh 7 inches of powder that Crystal had received the night before, we stopped for a break and I couldn’t help but to take a photo of our surroundings. What I like about my photo is how the image captures not only the range in the background, but how the fresh snow has been carved by our boards. Also the two groups of trees sorta frame the powder bowl range in the background.

It was a great idea to keep the camera level and show the slope of the hill. I also like the contrast that the dark trees offer to the snow and the blue sky. However I think the white balance was a little off because all the snow looks a little too blue/grey. In any case, it is still a great photo.

I really like the focus throughout the picture, it's like looking at everything in person! The way that the mountain's peak is in the middle of the two groups of trees really caught my attention first. All around this is an amazing photo!! Good Job!!

I love how the whitness of the snow stands out especially with the dark surrounding trees. This photo makes me want to go snowboarding on this mountain because the snow looks so fluffy and comforting. Also the focus in this photo is great, there is nothing that is extremely blurred out which is a great thing.
