Look Again

I was really excited about this photo when I took it. My friend went inside her camper and was peeking through the curtains and when I took the photo I didn’t even think about my reflection in the window. I knew this picture could look really cool with some editing so I took out the color and messed around with the levels until I got this creepy eerie feel to it. I love that you see both her face and my reflection, you just have to look again. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

  1. The focus is very good for what the picture is trying to accomplish. I like how the black and white makes this picture “pop” more than I think it would with normal colors. I like this picture because it is interesting how you can see two people instead of one.

  2. I like this picture because it looks cool, I like the reflection and I like the color, how it is in black and white. Also I like how he used a camper to get a fairly good picture.

  3. I like that this looks like an optical illusion but not hand drawn. The framing in with the curtains is also very nice. The only thing I think could be improved on is the shades. The black and white is nice it just doesn’t seem clear enough.

  4. I love the use of the reflection it gives the photo a haunting feeling to the photo. The use of black and white also enhances the feeling as well. The use of the curtains to crop the reflection in the window makes the photo pleasing to the eye.

  6. When first viewing this picture, I only saw the photographer's reflection and then I saw the face of the other person. This picture has an eery type feel to it but not creepy and I think that making the picture black and white helped create that feel. It makes you think and look closer to the underlying subject. I like the depth of this photo because it's not just a normal reflection and you have to find what the photo is actually of. Very nice picture.
