Self-Portrait

I took this picture for a self portrait assignment. I don’t quite fit in the frame because instead of a tripod I used a traffic cone but it turned out to be one of my best shots. I adjusted the color balance on my shirt to give it a bit of a pop but all of my hair made it hard so the Photoshop job isn’t perfect.

  1. Awesome picture! I think you did a great job on the Photoshop work. The colors really pop and the green is very eye catching. I like how you are bending over and can only see the bottom half of your face. I wish your eyes were visible though. It would be even more striking if you were staring directly at the camera. But even so, it really is a very nice picture. The composition of it is very appealing to the eyes. Great job! ^~^

  2. I really like the way the shirt is the main focus in this picture. A neutral background was a great choice as well. I would have liked to see the girl's hair pulled back to make a greater contrast!

  3. the mysteriousness of you not being in the frame is great. it gives room for imagination. the shirt and its random coloring is great and really brings the picture to life.

  4. i think this is a great picture. i like how you cant see the face and the position of the body is perfect for the picture. and the shirt makes the picture stand out even more.

  5. This picture seems to be filled with emotion. I love the colors pop out against the dull background. I also like how she’s not fully in the frame, it would have meant less meaningful if she was.
