Dallas

I really like this picture because it reminds me of something you’d see in a magazine. I like how the break in the fence where Dallas (horse) chewed away the wood makes for a good, almost framing technique. I’m very happy with the detail, how you can see every speck of mud in his fur. I wish he had brighter eyes to focus on and draw the eye to. I did not use Photoshop on this photo.

  1. I feel like the most exciting part of the horse would be it’s nose, and it’s kind of disappointing that that was not incorporated in the photograph. It looks like you just hit bad timing but shill wanted to take the picture.

  2. I like that you took photos of your horse! I have three horses and I just absolutely adore taking photos of them, I feel like they love my camera more than I do!
I think this photo could use some PhotoShop, maybe the lighting could be altered, especially where the fence is because it seems like I only want to look at the fence, or the wall in front of the horse’s head. My eyes don’t really draw to the horse, but I love that you can just see his eye! It makes for a mysterious mood.

  3. I love this picture because of the fact that the horses face is halfway cut off but you can still see the important parts of it. however i do think that you could have gotten better eye contact with the horse and a deeper background. The leading lines in the background are horizontal and i love it.
