Apple of Eden

I came upon this apple stuck in a fence as I was skating with my friends. I really like the fact that this photo wasn’t planned. I took a few shots and this is the one that I chose as my favorite. I further increased the importance of the apple by shading the background to grey. I believe this helps draw the attention onto the apple and its detail.

  1. I like the depth of fields.I also like how you have the apple is the only color and the rest is gray. I would like to put this as a good background for my computer.

  4. The depth of field is shallow and the focus on the apple is really nice. This is a good example of horizontal lines. I would probably hang this on my wall just because i'm wired and its a pretty cool picture (:

  6. The color in this picture draws you in. It was a great idea to have the background black and white to really emphasize the beautiful coloring of the apple. I also love the angle of this shot.

  8. I really like how you used rule of thirds and depth of field to make it look like there is a grey nothingness at the bottom of the fence. Great Shot!
