I took this photo of my friend Birgitte during photography class last year. I love the color of her eyes, so I wanted the color to really stand out. In photoshop, I changed the color of the photo to black and white and brought back her eye color. I also adjusted the levels a little bit. I really enjoy this photo, it’s one of my best ones.

I really love how its black and white and her eye is the only thing in color. I like how I can see the a building in the reflection of her eye if you look closely. Its very well taken(:

I like the popping of the eyes in this picture. These always get my attention because eyes are such a beautiful feature that people have. The DOF I think should have been evened out so you can focus on the entire eye and not just the eyeball and bottom lashes. You filled the space wonderfully and the mood of this picture is very bold on powerful. Although I enjoyed this picture, I probably would not hang it on my wall.
