Dog Tired

This is my dog Gracie, she’s a bijon-frishe-shitzu mix. She’s about 2 years old, and she’s so much fun. I took this a while ago right before I went to bed. She followed me to my room, stopped in the middle of the hall way & just layed down, it was a camera moment! I really like the way the focus is & how the depth of field looks. I also used rule of thirds to make the subject look even better. She’s such a cutie.

  1. I really like this picture, I think that the lighting and colors look nice. I liked that the dog was not in the center of the photo but was still obviously the main focus of the picture. Also the hinges on the door really stand out and you almost are kept wondering what is in the room with the open door.

  4. I like how this picture captured my attention. The dog is cute and was a perfect focal point. The rule of thirds was used nicely and I like the rustic colors in the photo. The lighting is nice and dimmed and gives off a certain mood. It is a good mood though. I would totally keep a picture like this, very nicely done.

  7. This is a really good photo. Good job using rule of thirds. The open door makes the room appear more open and it makes you wonder what’s in that room. Not to mention the dog is cute.

  9. I really like that picture. I like how photographer did not use the angle down, but placed the camera low enough to make the picture unique and special from others. I must say that photographer caught the right moment.

  10. I love how cute this dog is! Her pose is adorable. The artistic coloring of the photo also adds a lot to the look, making it more interesting. The rule of thirds increases the appeal even more! It could be a bit more focused, but overall a great photo!

  11. When I’m sad, I can just look at this picture. I like this little puppy is not in the center, but on the side of the picture using rule of thirds. 100% Professional Photographer.

  12. This is a great example of rule of thirds and I like how the lighting fits the scene and also how you can see the dog’s reflection on the floor. Great picture!

  13. I love this picture because the warm colors make you feel like if you were home and also the angle is interesting because everything looks bigger like if you were looking from the dog’s eyes.
The rule of thirds makes us pay more attention in the dog.
Also that the door is open is a good touch because makes you feel welcome and also wonder what is in that room.

  16. I like how this picture looks so real. I also, like how she used rule of thirds and it was like the perfect shot of the dog. I don’t like how it is kind of a plain room; I think she should have had more in the picture but not too much more.

  18. This photo uses a great rule of thirds and the reflections off of the wood floors add a new depth to the image. This dog is showing how tired it really is and is captured in such a way that it makes me feel how he does.

  21. SUCH A CUTE DOG!!! I like how you put your dog on the side of the picture and not in the middle. I think it would be a little better if the ear wasn’t cut off, but other than that is it amazing.

  22. The white balance on the photo makes the picture look aged, or old. The rule of thirds draws your eye to the dog and is a perfect example. The warm color range is also very appealing as well. I feel as if I’m at home on a lazy Sunday. Very good photo.
