This photo is one of my favorites. My camera was set on
Program and I was using Super-macro. I was trying not to scare the spider away,
but at the same time I was trying to take it’s picture at different angles. I
like how the light is in the background. I adjusted the exposure and highlights
to make it brighter in colors. Some people think spiders are scary, but if you
take a closer look they are really cool.

ReplyDeleteWhen I first looked at this picture I thought the spider was a like flower bud. But I realized it wasn’t. And then when I enlarged the picture I realized it was a great close up with texture picture. I love how you can see the little hair thingys on the spider and on the stem of the branch.
This photo has really great depth of field. I like how the background is blurred and the focus is on the spider. I like how the sunlight is reflected is on the leaf and spider. I like how the background is darker. All in all this is a lovely photo.

I really like this picture. The subject is clear and in focus. This photo has a great depth of field.

The Depth of Field used in this photo is perfect for this shot and puts all the focus on our main subject the spider. It starts off dark on the left then gets lighter giving that revealing feel to it. Not to mention it scares me with all that detail. Makes you feel as if you were really eye to eye with a spider.

This photo really caught my eye as spiders are elusive and hard to photograph, nice job on managing to capture it before it scurried away! I’d like to give you some advice though, the picture looks a little out of focus (Not by much, just a little) and the angle is a bit off but this can be fixed by changing to a top-right angle shot while still maintaining focus, this’ll also help you avoid blown-out photos. I’d reduce the saturation a bit (The amount of color is a bit overwhelming) but otherwise this is a really nice photo with good DOF, let’s just hope you don’t meet this creepy crawly indoors!

This picture gives me the creepy crawly. I hate spiders and you can see the detail of all the hairs on is legs. Also you can see the spider’s fangs. I life how bright red the spider looks compared to the green leaves.
