Michael Angelakos of Passion Pit


I took this picture at the Passion Pit concert at the Moore Theatre in Seattle on November 30th of 2010. I haven’t edited this picture in any way because I don’t really think it needed it. The blue lighting in the background is from the lights they had on stage. I used my friends Fujifilm Fine Pix S1500 and got a ton of awesome pictures.

    I like this photo, i just wish his feet werent blurry, but at the same time it gives an aspect towards the photo. I do like the blue lighting in the back ground. good job.

    I like the color of this; it’s a bit different and exciting. The image shows action and looks like the event was a blast.

    I like the side shot of the singer because I can see his face and the microphone which is awesome. It’s a bit too blue but you couldn’t have helped it. Overall I like this photo.

    I really like the fact that you were able to take a picture at a concert because usually it is very dark. I believe you did a great job with the lighting and although the overall color is blue, you were able convey the shades and hues of the performer. I also enjoy how you used rule of thirds to center the performer and put it as the focus of the picture. The dark blue contrasts with the lighter and brighter colors of the performer’s clothes which further adds to the center of focus. I love this picture, it is great.

    wow! i love passion pit! and this picture...the lights in it really express the bands personality! it's almost even an action shot...this is such a cool picture!

    PASSION PIT! I have so much love for passion pit. Such a super cool picture, the angle up classic and captures Michael Angelakos perfectly. His feet are little blurry… The blue lighting compliments the other colours.
