I was on my way to school when I saw this image. At first my sister and I were freaking out because we thought the world was going to end, but then I figured it was just the shadow of the mountain. So I got out my camera and took a couple shots while my sister was speeding along. They were okay, but then the sun began to rise and it was perfect. I wish I would have pulled over and gotten the camera onto a tripod. And I hate all the wires everywhere these days-hard to find a clear vantage point.

This photo is incredible! I love the orange color of the sky. I agree that the wires are a bit distracting but it is still a great shot. The shadow from the mountain is something that we don’t see very often so it really adds to the photo.

This is a beautiful picture! I love the oranges and the purples that are in this picture. I also like how it looks like the center is leading to something, it makes it look more mysterious. This is a great picture.

I like this picture because it is very mysterious the shadow looks very cool, as I have never seen this before. I like that all the clouds are lit up orange as they line the sky. Very nice.

When I saw this picture I was sad because I didn’t get a chance to see this in person. I have the biggest fascination with the sky so I probably would have gone crazy. I like how the mountain is not centered and how the trees are silhouette. The exposure is good because if it was any lighter it would have made the store more clear which would have drawn away from the main focus (the mountain). Good photo (: !

This picture is by far beautiful in its own way it show beautiful lighting while showing a leading line which sends everything back to the big picture of the mountain which is having a beautiful reflective color-jr
ReplyDeleteI really like this picture because the lighting of the picture is really good and the color of the sky is awesome with the shadow taking up much of the sky. I also like how the shadow is like a reflection in the water.

This photo is amazing the lighting of the slowly raising makes it have a really strong impact. The use of light and dark areas in the photo allows the focus in the photo to become even stronger. It makes me feel in shock i would love to have this photo because of the coloring and how unique it is. I also find it funny that you and your sister thought the world was ending. Tyler McMahan

The shadow of the mountain is amazing, and the coloring makes it stand out and I love the warmth of the colors. I really wish the building was not there, but besides that it is a great photo that captures the colors of the sky and clouds in a interesting way, nice job!

I love all the vibrant colors you captured in this photo. The sunset really pops out, and the clouds look really cool. You used the Rule of Thirds well to draw my eye to the mountain; however I wish you could have captured the same picture without the extra stuff in the background. I really like the purple triangle in the sky because it looks as if it’s pointing to the mountain which draws my eye directly toward it. Overall, it’s a nice photo.

I remember the day that this happened. I too thought that something out of the ordinary was going to happen. What I like about the picture is how the mountain casts a dark shadow on the clouds that contrasts really well with the rest of the colorful sky. - JakeN FPHS
